One year on, I’m reflecting on the areas where study abroad had the biggest impact on my life.
You haven’t seen castles until you’ve been to Wales. – a probably misremembered quote by a friend of a friend
I was dreaming about Seattle years before I went there. It’s kind of a surreal place—the sunset over the water, the mountains, the Space Needle (I mean, what more perfect place for crazy science fiction stuff to happen, right? I have just a couple more weeks of being careful on my foot. I’m looking forward to getting back to working out and swing dancing very soon, both of which I have missed a lot.
