I worked as a proofreader in the marketing and creative services department at Medtronic, a global company. In addition to catching errors, I focused on maintaining brand visual standards.

I proofread marketing and catalog copy at a small trade publishing house.

I copy edited and fact-checked print and web news articles and proofed graphics and sports statistics for The Minnesota Daily, one of the largest college newspapers in the US. I am experienced in editing articles related to news, sports, politics, and arts and entertainment.

As a student editorial and production assistant at the University of Minnesota Press, I proofread indexes, e-books, catalogs, and bibliographies for accuracy, formatting, and Chicago and in-house styles.

I was also an editor for student publication Between Cities and the Minnesota Literacy Council’s annual literary journal Journeys.

I’ve freelance copy edited for medical journals and textbooks through Graphic World, Inc., and worked with clients on various individual projects including business presentations, academic papers, emails, and creative writing through Editor World.

I worked as a freelance copywriter and editor at WSI Sports, where I updated website copy and edited press releases and the seasonal catalog. I also edited a novel-length manuscript for self-published author Spencer Wolf.
